History and Future vision

Founded in 2012, we support the United States-Israel Binational Science Foundation. Scientific collaboration between American and Israeli scientists has achieved significant outcomes in diverse fields of basic and applied scientific fields including life sciences, medicine and biomedical engineering.  With direction from a multidisciplinary board of directors, we seek to involve philanthropic individuals and foundations throughout the United States. Together we will provide financial resources to ensure premier American and Israeli scientists continue their scientific innovation between the two countries through our support of collaborative world-class research.

The research is conducted through the United States-Israel Binational Science Foundation (BSF).  With the ultimate goal to advance collaborative research in a diverse range of scientific disciplines that will impact people’s lives, areas of study include the basic sciences such as mathematics, physics and chemistry, as well as such applied scientific fields as medicine, bio-medical engineering, ecology, and energy research, among many others.

All of the research projects are innovative and demonstrate real cooperation, promote peaceful purposes, and reflect only cutting-edge science of the highest quality. Scientists hail from their respective countries’ most distinguished universities: Harvard, Caltech, Cornell, Stanford, and MIT among many others in the U.S.; and the Weizmann Institute of Science, Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Hebrew, Tel Aviv, Bar-Ilan, and Ben-Gurion in Israel to name a few.

The focus of our efforts is to meet ever-growing costs of innovative research and the increasing needs of Israeli and American scientists that, under present economic conditions, is a significant challenge.
